THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Edward Sule Hongo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Kisumu/Kasule/3605, situate in the district of Kisumu, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kisumu in Succession Cause No. E417 of 2021, has issued grant in favour of (1) Marvin Odingo Hongo and (2) Silas Jagero Hongo, and whereas the said court has confirmed the grant in favour of (1) Marvin Odingo Hongo and (2) Silas Jagero Hongo, and whereas the land title deed in respect of Edward Sule Hongo (deceased), is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 as per the grant and certificate of confirmation of grant, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Edward Sule Hongo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
