THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Adan Abdirahman Hassan, of P.O. Box 32952, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in leasehold interest from the Government of Kenya, of all that piece of land containing 1.978 hectares or thereabout, known as L.R. No. 10633-Malindi, Kilifi, situate in Malindi Municipality in Kilifi District, registered as C.R. 637021, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the government, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received within that period, I Intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file title register as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act.
