THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Stephen Mangwali Engoke (deceased), is registered proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.18 hectare or thereabouts, known as South Maragoli/Bugonda/2310, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas in the Senior Principal Court at Hamisi in Succession Cause No. E144 of 2023, has issued letters of administration in favor of Rabeccah Khamonya Mangwari, and whereas the said Rabeccah Khamonya Mangwari has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Rabeccah Khamonya Mangwari, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Stephen Mangwali Engoke (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
