THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Elida Andoli Were (deceased), is registered proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.58 hectares or thereabout, known as West Bunyore/Esiandumba/1047, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas in the Senior Principal Court at Vihiga in Succession Cause No. 325 of 2021, has issued letters of administration in favor of Obuyuka Apwoka Christine Josphine, and whereas the said Obuyuka Apwoka Christine Josphine has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided that no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Obuyuka Apwoka Christine Josphine, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Elida Andoli Were (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
