THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS H. O. M. Holdings Limited, of P.O. Box 63359– 00619, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as L.R. No. 209/4844/61, by virtue of a lease registered as I.R. 17016/1, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas the head lessor, the city county of Nairobi has executed instrument of discharge of charge and renewal of lease in favor of the registered proprietor, and whereas an affidavit has been filed pursuant to section 31 as evidence that the said lease has been misplaced, notice is given that after the expiration of fourteen (14) days from the date hereof, I shall dispense with the production of the grant and register the instrument of discharge of charge and renewal of lease, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
