THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Chacha Nyamohanga (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 6.8 hectares or thereabout, known as Nyabasi/Bomerani/288, situate in the district of Kuria, and whereas in the Magistrate’s Court at Migori in Succession Cause No. E288 of 2022, has issued letters of administration to (1) Robi Nyaite Kohera, (2) Sabina Motatiro John, (3) Esther Kaguri Chacha and (4) Mark Chacha, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said John Chacha Nyamohanga (deceased) cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to (1) Robi Nyaite Kohera, (2) Sabina Motatiro John, (3) Esther Kaguri Chacha and (4) Mark Chacha, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said John Chacha Nyamohanga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
