THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Malindi Ginneries Limited, of P.O. Box 87074– 80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of freehold interest of all that piece of land known as Portion No. 300, situate in Malindi in Kilifi District, registered as L.T. No. 27, folio 122, file 3498, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the certificate of title in respect of the title has been lost or destroyed, and whereas the registered owner have executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the said instrument on indemnity and reconstruct the folio as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act, of the land registration Act No. 3 of 2012.
