THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Baptista Maina Muthanga, as administrator of the estate of Godfrey Muthanga Gathaiya (deceased), (2) Cecilia Waithira Muturi, as the administrator of the estate of Gateru Ndanga (deceased), (3) Julia Wangari Muriithi, as the administrator of the estate of Muriithi Kabuthi (deceased), (4) Nancy Wangechi Muturi, as the administrator of the estate of Muturi Reuben (deceased) and (5) Muringo Zakaria, all of P.O. Box 961-10101, Karatina in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land known as L.R. No. 209/2489/55, situate in the city of Nairobi in Nairobi Area, by virtue of a grant registered as I.R. 156105/1 and whereas the said land register in respect thereof is lost/destroyed and whereas efforts made to locate the said land register have failed and whereas the proprietors have indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya against all claims that may be made after reconstruction of the register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, the property register shall be reconstructed as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
