THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Irene Njeri Mwangi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land containing 0.1 and 2.05 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Karai/Lusigetti/T. 236 and Nguirubi/Thigio/763, respectively and whereas in the senior principal magistrate's court at Limuru has issued grant and letters of administration to (1) Eva Wangui Mwangi and (2) Reuben Wanyeki Mwangi, and whereas the land title deeds issued issued earlier to the said Irene Njeri Mwangi (deceased) have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with the registration of the said instruments of R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 and issue land title deecls to the said (1) Eva Wangui Mwangi and (2) Reuben Wanyeki Mwangi, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Irene Njeri Mwangi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
