COMPLETION OF DEVELOPMENT PLAN
NOTICE is given that the above mentioned part development plan
was on 7th April, 2020, completed.
The part development plan relates to land situated within Homa
Bay Town, Homa Bay County.
Copies of the part development plan have been deposited for
public inspection at the County Physical Planning Office, Public
Works Building and Homa Bay Town Sub-County Administrator's
Office.
A copy so deposited is available for inspection free of charge by all
persons interested at the County Physical Planning Office, Public
Works Building and Homa Bay Town Sub-County Administrator's
Office between the hours of 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Any interested person who wishes to make any representation in
connection with or objection to the above named part development
plan may send such representations or objections in writing to be
received by the County Executive Committee Member, Lands,
Housing, Urban Development and Physical Planning, Homa Bay
County, P.O. Box 469-40300, Homa Bay, within sixty (60) days from
the date of publication of this notice and such representation or
objection shall state the grounds on which it is made.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT STUDY REPORT
FOR THE PROPOSED APARTMENTS DEVELOPMENT ON
PLOT L. R. NO. 1/402, ALONG KINDARUMA ROAD, KILIMANI,
NAIROBI CITY COUNTY
INVITATION OF PUBLIC COMMENTS
Pursuant to regulation 21 of the Environmental Management and
Co-ordination (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, 2003, the
National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received
an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the above
proposed project.
The proponent, Ever Forgarden Company Limited, is proposing to
construct four 15-storey blocks of apartments comprising of 240No.
studio apartments, 660No. one bed roomed apartments (Total no.:
900No. apartments). The development will be accommodated in four
15-storey blocks. The ground floor and the two basement floors
comprise of parking. The 1st to 15th floors will comprise of residential
apartments. Other features will include a stone wall perimeter fence
with gates (entry and exit) and a guard house and other associated
facilities and amenities on Plot L.R. No. 1/402 along Kindaruma Road
in Kilimani, Nairobi City County.
The following are the anticipated impacts and proposed mitigation
measures:

structures through proper design and
maintenance.

conduct regular fire drills.
• Adapt effective emergency response
plan.
• Maintain service firefighting
machinery regularly.
• Provide emergency numbers at
strategic points.

The National Environment Management Authority invites
members of the public to submit oral or written comments within
thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice to the
Director-General, NEMA, to assist the Authority in the decision
making process regarding this plan.
