ESTABLISHMENT

NOTICE is given for information of the general public that pursuant to the Controller of Budget's Circular Ref. No: COB/COG/002NOL. 3 (55) dated 19th June, 2019, the persons underlisted hereto have been nominated to the Baringo County Pending Bills Committee, to finalize on pending bills claimed as against the County with immediate effect. The committee shall consist of the following members: John Kiptoon Kandagor— Chairperson James Lotara Wilily Bowen Jeremiah Chepkilot John Kibor Dora Sawe (Ms.) Therefore, upon publication of this notice, any person with any claim or pending bill against the government to submit such claims or bills to the committee for consideration. The Terms of Reference to the committee shall be to: (a) Scrutinize and analyze all county pending bills with a view of making appropriate recommendations to the County treasury for payment. (b) Develop a clear procedure and criteria for dealing with current existing County government bills. (c) Prepare a payment priority list of all cleared payments. (d) Develop a system to ensure that future escalation of pending bills within the county government is avoided. Dated the 17th January, 2020.
