WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12 of the Advocates (Senior Counsel Conferment and Privileges) Rules, 2011, His Excellency the President and the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya on the 20th July, 2020, conferred upon the following Advocates the rank of Senior Counsel, namely: O. M. Parkash Nagpal, Fackson Wainaina Kagwe, Pravin Kumar Bowry, Rautta Athiambo, Charles Waweru Gatonye, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Fredrick Ngatia, Martha Wangari Karua, Mohammed Nyaoga, Phillip Murgor, Albert Mumma, Beauttah Alukhava Siganga, Kiragu Kimani, Judy Thongori, Taib Ali Taib Bajabir, Zehrabanu Janmohamed, Wilfred Nderitu, John M. Ohaga, Kioko Kilukumi, Patricia Mande Nyaundi, Dorcas Odhong Oduor, Abdikadir Hussein Mohammed, Paul Otiende Amollo, John Mugwimi Chigiti. NOW therefore, the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 (4) of the Advocates Act (Cap. 16) notifies for the general information of the public that the rank of Senior Counsel has been conferred upon the following Advocates, namely: O.
