NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly of Laikipia and the general public that, pursuant to standing order 30 of the Laikipia County Assembly Standing Orders, there shall be special sittings of the County Assembly at the Assembly Chambers, at Nanyuki Town, on Monday, 4th May, 2020, at 10.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. and the business to be transacted shall be: (a) Reports: (i) The Public Finance Management Act (Laikipia County Emergency Fund) Regulations, 2020 (ii) Laikipia County Supplementary Estimates, 2019/2020 (iii) The Public Finance Management Act (Laikipia County Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund) Regulations, 2020 (iv) The Laikipia County Finance Act (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 2020 (b) Motions: (i) Request for Waiver of Interest accrued on rates (ii) Measures taken by the County Government of Laikipia to address the Covid-19 paademic.
