(l) ne Kenya Gazette contains notices of a general nature which do not affect
legislafion. They are, therefore, submitted to the Government Printer
directly.
(2) Legislatit'e Supplementcontalns Rules and Regulations w'hicll are issued by
tlle central Government. Because of tliis they must be submitted to the
Govelnment Printer through the oftice.of the Attorney-General.
(3) Bill Supplqment contains Bills which' are for introdtlction in the Natitmal
' Assembly.
(4) Act Supplement conlins Acts passed by the National Assembly.

sheet no matter llow small the notice is, each pagi being numbered. tmd should be
typewritten' with double spacing. Copy should be clear, legible and contain no
alterations.
. Particblar attention should be paid to the following points:
(i) Si nature must be supported by rubber-stamping or typing the name of the!
slgnatory in capital letters.
(ii) Datçs must be correct and filled in where necessary. '
(iii) Care should be taken to ensuie that all headings to noticespnd references to
Iegislation are tlp to (late and conform with the Revised Edititm of the
Laws of Kenya.

'<D 46. (1) Communications for tlle Kenya Gazette shuuld reach the Govern-
ment Printer not later than 9 a.m. on Friday of the week before publication is
desired. ne Government Printer will not publish communications received
after that hour until the next subsequent issue of the Gazette.
(2) Ministries will be required to pay for the Kenya Gazette and to meet the
cost of Qkertising in it.
(3) It will facililte work at the Press if Permanent Secretaries will forward
Gazette nolièes to the Government Printer in time.
It is emphasized that these notes are for guidance only, but it is requested that
persons.submitting copy for publicatitm first satisfy themselves that such copy is
complete in every respect.''
