FOR THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF AIMI MA KILUNGU
RANCH IN MAKUENI DISTRIG
PURSUANT to regulation . 21 of the Environmental (Impact
Assessment and Audit) Regulations, the National Environment
Management Authority (NEMA), has received an environmental
impact assessment study report for the subdivision of Aimi Ma
Kilungu Ranch by Aimi Ma Kilungu Limited.
The proposed subdivision of Aimi Ma Kilungu Ranch will be
located in Makueni District. Thc Ranch is measuring about 18,646. 1
acres comprising of seven parcels. lt borders Malili Ranch to the north,
Ulu Settlement Scheme to 4he west, Kiu Ranch to the south and Kiima
Kiu Settlement Sclleme to the east. ne Ranch is about 80 kilometres
from Nairobi. The Nairobi-Mombasa Highway passes through the
ranch.
The objective of the subdivision is to allow individual ownership
of land hence 'incyeasing production due to eftkient management. This
will also generate income for the shareholders.
Thc project anticipates the following impacts and mitigation
measures:

impact assessment study report for the groposed residential housing
development in Kileleshwa. Nairobi by Vlraj Development Limited.
The proposed project will be simated off Ring Road, Kilimani. on
plot No. 209/12586. The site borders Kirichwa Kubwa Riker to the
East and parcels of land. residential houses and Kenya Power and
Lighting to the West.
The objective of the, project is to develop nine (9) housing
apartment blocks comprising 82 lmusing units designed as one,' two
and four bedrooms of four (4) storeys each.
The project anticipates the following impacts and mitigation
measures:
