IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 148 of the Local Government Act.. the Municipal Council of Busia has, with the approved of the Minister for Local Government imposed the following fees and charges as shown in the schedule here under with effect from 1st January 2005. Tailors with produce across the board 40 0ne bag of onions per bag 60 Onç crate of tomatoes 60 One bag of dmmhead cabbage 40 Une bag of sweet/lrish potatoes 60 One bag of sukuma wfk'l 20 One bag of omena 60 One bunch of banana 20 Lorries with banana across the boarder Uganda per 20 bunch Fish from Uganda per lorry 3 ,000 Fish from Kenya mr lorry 3 ,000 One blket of fish smaller size 100 CONDITIONS Every permit issued under this resolution shall be produced for inspectibn to any police officer, administration police, health officer, revenue ofticer, market master or any employee of the council authorized to do so by the lown clerk. It shall be displayed at a conspicuous place convenient for inspection as aforesaid.
