PURSUANT to regulation 2 l of the Environmental (Impact
Assessment and Audit) Regulations, the National Environment
. Management Authority (NEMA), has received an environmental
impact assessment study report for the proposed 1ow cost housing
scheme in 'Mlolongo. Mavoko Municipality, Athi River' by African
Floor Covering (1969) Limited.
The proposed project will be sitnated along Mombasa' Road, on
plot L.R, No. 337/1002, in Mavoko Municipality. a few metres after
Mlolongo Town heading from Nairobi City Centre and before the
junction to Namanga.
The objective of the project is to provide accommodation/housing.
The project anticipates the following impacts and mitigation
measures:

of Iand hence increasing production due to efficient management. This
will also gcnerate income for the shareholders.

PURSUANT to regulation 21 of the Environmental (lmpact
Assessment and Audit) Regulations, the National Environment
Management Autbority (NEMA), has received an environmental
impact as'sessment study report for the subdivision of Aimi Ma
Kilungu Ranch by Aimi Mb Llungu Limited.
The proposed subdivision of Aimi Ma Kilungu Ranch will be
Iocated in Makueni District. The Ranch is measuling about l 8,646.1
acres comprising of seven parcels. It borders Malili Ranch to the north,
Dlu Settlement Scheme to the west, Kiu Ranch to the south and Kiima
Kiu Settlement Scheme to the east. The Ranch is about 80 kilometres
from Nairobi. The Nairobi-Mombasa Highway passes through the
ranch.
The objective of tfke subàivision is to allow individual ownership
