PURSUANT to Standing Order No. 27 (3) of the County Assembly of Busia Standing Orders, it is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly and the general public that there shall be special sittings of the County Assembly to be held on Thursday, 26th June, 2025 at 9.00 a.m., on Friday, 27th June, 2025, at 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. and on Monday, 30th June, 2025 at 9.00 a.m, 10.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. at the Busia County Assembly Buildings. The business to be transacted at the special sittings shall be as follows: Thursday, 26th June, 2025 at 9.00 a.m. Tabling of the Budget and Appropriation Committee report on the Busia County Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2025/2026. Friday, 27th June, 2025 at 9.00 a.m. Debate of the Budget and Appropriation Committee report on the Busia County Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2025/2026. Friday, 27th June, 2025 at 2.30 p.m. First Reading of the Busia County Appropriation Bill, 2025. Monday, 30th June 2025 at 9.00 a.m Tabling of the County Assembly Budget and Appropriations committee Report on the Busia County Appropriation Bill, 2025. Monday, 30th June 2025 at 10.00 a.m Second Reading of the Busia County Appropriations Bill, 2025.
