PURSUANT to Standing Order No. 27 (3) of the County Assembly of Busia Standing Orders, it is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly and the general public that there shall be special sittings of the County Assembly to be held on Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 at 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m., at the Busia County Assembly Buildings. The business to be transacted at the special sittings shall be as follows: Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 at 9.00 a.m. (a) Tabling of the Budget and Appropriation Committee Report on the Busia County Fiscal Strategy Paper for the Financial Year 2025/2026 and the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework; (b) Tabling of the Budget and Appropriation Committee Report on the Debt Management Strategy Paper for the Financial Year 2025/2026; (c) Tabling of the Finance and Economic Planning Committee Report on public participation of the Busia County Finance Bill, 2025. Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 at 2.30 p.m. (a) Debate of the Budget and Appropriation Committee Report on the Busia County Fiscal Strategy Paper for the Financial Year 2025/2026 and the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework; (b) Debate of the Budget and Appropriation Committee Report on the Debt Management Strategy Paper for the Financial Year 2025/2026.
