THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Micheck Karuiru Johana (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Sosian/Sosian Block 2/12424 (Narok Ranch), situate in the county of Laikipia, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Baricho in Succession Cause No. 464 of 2016, has issued grant in favour of Joseph Mutahi Karuiru, and whereas the said Joseph Mutahi Karuiru has executed an application to be registered as proprietors by transmission R.L. 19, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of said Joseph Mutahi Karuiru, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Micheck Karuiru Johana (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
