THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Nyaga Karumbi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 4.05 hectares or thereabout, known Kyeni/Kigumo/1288, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Runyenjes in Succession Cause No. 99 of 2009, has issued letters of administration to Nicasio Kinyua Nyanga, and whereas the said Nicasio Kinyua Nyanga has excecuted an application to be registered as roprietor by transmission in respect of said parcel of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor bt transmission in favour of Nicasio Kinyua Nyanga, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Nyaga Karumbi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
