SETTLEMENT

NOTICE is given to all members of the County Assembly of Machakos and the general public that pursuant to Standing Order No. 26 of the County Assembly of Machakos Standing Orders, I have appointed Tuesday, the 9th December, 2025, as a day for special sitting of the County Assembly of Machakos. The sitting shall be held at County Hall along Mwatu wa Ngoma Road, Machakos Town, Machakos County, from 10.00 a.m. The business to be transacted at the sitting shall be as follows: (a) Consideration of the Machakos County Gender Equality and Community Empowerment Bill, 2025 – Second reading, Committee stage and Third reading. (b) Consideration and approval of the Machakos County Annual Development Plan for FY 2026/2027. (c) Consideration and approval of Kenya Informal Settlement Improvement Project (KISIP 2) Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan (LP&LUDPs) for the informal settlements: Mutituni, Muumandu, Makutano ma Mwala and Masinga. (d) Any other business that may be transacted pursuant to Standing Orders No. 151 (6) (d), (e) and (f) of the County Assembly of Machakos Standing Orders as may be admitted by the Speaker.
