THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT
(No. 3 of 2012)
REGISTRATION
WHEREAS Makanga Matende Williab alias Makanga Matende
(deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land
containing 16.2 acres or thereabout, known as West
Bunyore/Emusire/136, situate in the sub-county of Emuhaya, and
whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in
Succession Cause No. 159 of 2019, has issued letters of administration
in favour of David Rowland Matende, and whereas the said David
Rowland Matende has executed an application to be registered as
proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and
whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid
objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense
with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with
registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by
transmission in favour of David Rowland Matende, and upon such
registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Makanga
Matende Williab alias Makanga Matende (deceased), shall be deemed
to be cancelled and of no effect.
