THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Namu Kathiga (deceased), is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership interest of all those pieces of land containing 0.07 and 0.10 hectare or thereabouts, known as Ngandori/Kirigi/13718 and 13719, respectively, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. E208 of 2022, has issued letters of administration to Ephantus Muriuki Namu, and whereas Ephantus Muriuki Namu has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the said land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Ephantus Muriuki Namu, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Namu Kathiga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
