THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Getrude Nyamunga Atieno, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.87 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kisumu/Wawidhi A I/5699, situate in the district of Nyando and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kisumu in case No. MCELCMISC/E100/20202, has issued a decree directing the registrar of lands Nyando District to rectify the registry and extinguish by virtue of the Limitations of Action of Act and the applicants having been on the said piece of land for a period exceeding twelve (12) years have acquired and is entitled to the by adverse possessionto the said piece of land, and whereas all efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the said land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land has failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Getrude Nyamunga Atieno, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
