THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Raphael Ireri Mariu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.33 hectares or thereabouts, situate in the district of Embu, known as Kyeni/Kigumo/6196, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Embu in Succession Cause No. 369 of 2014, has issued letters of administration to Hellenia Muringo Ireri, and whereas the said Hellenia Muringo Ireri has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Hellenia Muringo Ireri, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Raphael Ireri Mariu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
