THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Barika Shaban Mohamed and (2) Salima Shaban, both of P.O. Box 80401–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors in freehold ownership interest of all that parcel of land, known as L.R. No. 13805/I/MN containing 0.0266 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the Mombasa Municipality in the Mombasa District, registered as C.R. 42486, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the said owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that at the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within the period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33(3) of the Act.
