THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Emma Wanjiru Maina (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land containing 1.33 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Murang’a, known as Loc. 2/Mariira/1542, and whereas in High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 2868 of 1998, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of David Ndungu Maina, of P.O. Box 55, Sabasaba in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the said land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the period hereof, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said David Ndungu Maina upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Emma Wanjiru Maina (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
