GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 11067

WHEREAS Kangaita Coffee Estate Limited, of P.O. Box 30091, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor (lessee) of all that piece of land containing 205.0 hectares or thereabout, known as L.R. No. 1121/76, situate in the west of Ruiru Township in the Thika District, by virtue of a certificate of title, registered as I.R. 88741/1, and whereas the piece of land was illegally sub-divided into several hundreds of portions that is, L.R. Nos. as enumerated in the Decree Case No. ELCC/4/2021 which were variously registered and certificates of titles issued to several other persons and whereas Environmental and Land Court in its ruling Case No. ELCC/E36 of 2023 has ordered as null and void the sale and declared as revoked all the subdivisions and the resultant titles on L.R. No. 11261/76 and further ordered the restoration of the said property to its original owner, Notice is given to all the affected persons to surrender all the titles resultant of the illegal subdivision of the said piece of land to the office of the Chief Land Registrar within ninety (90) days from the date of the said court decree to facilitate cancellation and revocation in line with the court decree, failure to which all the titles resultant of the subdivision of L.R.
