THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Karanja Kiongo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.101 hectare or thereabouts, situate in district of Kiambu, known as Muguga/Jetscheme/2360, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 322 of 2008, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Mary Njeri Kiongo, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Karanja Kiongo (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and issue land title deed to the said Mary Njeri Kiongo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Karanja Kiongo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
