THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kipkorir arap Bite (deceased), is registered as proprietor in the absolute ownership interest of all that parcel of land, situate in the county of Kericho, registered under the title No. Kericho/Ngomwet/141, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kericho in Succession Cause No. E61 of 2024 has granted letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Winny Chelagat and (2) Hillary Kiprotich Koech, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Kipkorir arap Bite (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed in the name of (1) Winny Chelagat and (2) Hillary Kiprotich Koech and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Kipkorir arap Bite (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
