GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 13364

NOTICE is given pursuant to the provisions of section 77 of the County Governments Act, 2012, section 79 (1) of the Water Act and Guideline 3.4.5 of the Corporate Governance Standards for the Water Sector, 2024, made by the Water Services Regulatory Board, that I, Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, Governor, Isiolo County, has appointed the following persons as members of the Selection Panel for the Recruitment of External Members of the Board of Directors of the Isiolo Water and Sewerage Company Limited: Isaack Kara Boru—Chairperson Rebecca Mwonjiru Munya—Member Bone Omar Godana—Member Nuria Mubarak—Member Abdighfeir Ismail—Member Linus Thuranira Gichunge—Secretary 1. The terms of reference of the Selection Panel will be to— (a) formulate and undertake the advertisement of vacancies for external directors in the Board of Directors of the Isiolo Water and Sewerage Company (IWASCO) Limited; (b) undertake the longlisting and shortlisting of the applications received under paragraph (a) above; (c) prepare and publish the interview schedule of the candidates shortlisted for the stated vacancies; and (d) conduct the interviews of the shortlisted applicants and thereafter forward the names of the successful applicants to the County Governor for appointment. 2. In the performance of its task, the Selection Panel— (a) shall regulate its own procedure; (b) shall be facilitated by the Office of the County Secretary and the County Department of Finance as may be appropriate for the effective discharge of its mandate; and (c) shall submit a final report to the Governor at the end of its term. 3.
