THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mariko Madegwa Voletsa alias Marko Madegwa Buletsa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.1 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kakamega/Ivora/289, situate in the Sub-County of Hamisi, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Hamisi in the Succession Cause No. E213 of 2024, has issued letters of administration in favour of Gladyce Magama, and whereas the said Gladyce Magama has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Gladyce Magama, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Mariko Madegwa Voletsa alias Marko Madegwa Buletsa (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
