NOTICE is given to all members of County Assembly of Nandi and the general public that, pursuant to Standing Order No. 30 (2) and (3) of the County Assembly of Nandi Standing Orders, there shall be a special sitting of the County Assembly to be held at the County Assembly Chambers, Kapsabet Town, on Monday, 3rd February, 2025 at 9.30 a.m. The following shall be the businesses to be transacted– 1. Papers (a) The Lands, Environment and Natural Resources Committee Report on Nandi County Physical Land Use Development plan 2024-2034 and Kenya Informal Settlement Project (KISI 2), Physical Land use Development Plans for Kabiyet,Kaiboi,Kaptumo, Ollessos, Baraton and Kemeloi. (b) Proposal on Land Exchange programme to expand Kapsabet Municipality Sewerage Treatment Plant. (c) Framework for collaboration in the Implementation of Rural electrification and renewable energy projects between Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation and County Government of Nandi. 2. Motions (a) MOTION: That this House adopts the Lands, Environment and Natural Resources Committee Report on Nandi County Physical Land use Development plan 2024-2034 and Kenya Informal Settlement Project (KISI 2), Physical Land use Development Plans for Kabiyet, Kaiboi, Kaptumo, Ollessos, Baraton and Kemeloi laid on the table of the House today 3rd February, 2025.
