THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

(Cap. 303)

SETTLEMENT

PURSUANT to section 50 (1) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, the County Government of Baringo gives notice of its 7282 7282 intention to amend the approved Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan (LPLUDP) for the Katorong'ot Informal Settlement. The reasons for the proposed amendment are: (i) Practical difficulties in the implementation of the Plan. (ii) Need to minimize social disruption caused by the approved Plan in the settlement. (iii) Need to realign the circulation network and access roads to reduce impact on the existing structures thus reducing displacements. (iv) Need to re-designate various plots within the settlement with correct land uses. A copy of the proposed amendment is available for inspection at the offices of the County Director of Physical and Land Use Planning, County Government of Baringo, during normal working hours for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of publication of this notice. Any interested person may submit written comments or objections within sixty (60) days from the date of this notice to: The County Executive Committee Member, Lands, Housing and Urban Development, P.O.
