THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Lavington Housing and Investments Limited, of P.O. Box 16035–00610, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as L.R. No. 209/1063, situate in the city of Nairobi, by virtue of a certificate of title, registered as I.R. 84749/1, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed and whereas efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Limited, of P.O. Box 61711–00200, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, the chargee has indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya against all claims that may be made after the reconstruction of the register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, the property register shall be reconstructed as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
