THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Njiru Kauga (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.21 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Embu, known as Ngandori/Kirigi/1849, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. 569 of 2016, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Charles Mwaniki Mugo, and whereas the said to Charles Mwaniki Mugo has executed an application to be registerd as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said parcel of land, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Charles Mwaniki Mugo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Njiru Kauga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
