THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Stanley Kiprono Langat (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the district of Bomet, known as Kericho/Kimulot/999, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Sotik in Succession Cause No. E9 of 2023, has issued grant in favour of Rosemary Chepkoech Langat, and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of L.R.A. 39 in respect of the said land registered in the name of Stanley Kiprono Langat (deceased), and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietors by transmission of L.R.A. 39 in the name of Rosemary Chepkoech Langat, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Stanley Kiprono Langat (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
