THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Emmy Chebet (deceased), of P.O. Box 306, Iten in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.05 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the county of Elgeyo/Marakwet, known as Irong/Iten/2791, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Iten in Succession Cause No. E48 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Alice Caren Ruttoh, of P.O. Box 306, Iten in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Emmy Chebet (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Emmy Chebet (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
