GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 14264

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 5 (3) and 8 (1) of the Statutory Instruments Act, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning notifies the stakeholders in respect of state officers, public officers and members of the public of the proposed Public Finance Management (State Officers and Public Officers Motor Car Loan Scheme Fund) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 and the Regulatory Impact Statement of the Regulations. The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning has developed the proposed amendments to the Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred under section 24 (4) of the Public Finance Management Act. The main objectives of the Regulations make the loan facility offered by the State Officers and Public Officers Car Loan Scheme Fund attractive, enhance loan uptake and thereby help realize the ultimate goal of the State Officers and Public Officers Car Loan Scheme Fund. The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning invites stakeholders in respect of the motor car loan scheme and members of the public to submit their comments and proposed amendments to the Regulations and the Regulatory Impact Statement.
