THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Rahab Wangui Kirima (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.0214 hectare or thereabouts, known as Mugunda Ruirii/Block 1/Muthangira/264, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 122 of 2019, has issued grant of letters of administration to Peter Gitau Wangui as the administrator and the beneficiary, and whereas the said land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land is lost or cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of the said Peter Gitau Wangui as the administrator and the beneficiary, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Rahab Wangui Kirima (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
