THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ireri Gakiave alias Ireri Gakiabi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.75 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kagaari/Weru/1695, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. 74 of 1999, has issued letters of administration to Tabitha Wanjiru Mbaka and whereas the said Tabitha Wanjiru Mbaka has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed issued is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Tabitha Wanjiru Mbaka, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ireri Gakiave alias Ireri Gakiabi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
