THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Arthur Lugonzo Mulusa alias Authur Lugonzo Mulusa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as South Maragoli/Buyonga/2533, containing 0.33 hectare or thereabouts, situate in Sub-county of Vihiga, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court of Kenya at Vihiga, in Succession Cause No. E174 of 2023, has issued letters of administration in favour of Francis Lisamadi Lugonzo, and whereas the said Francis Lisamadi Lugonzo has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Arthur Lugonzo Mulusa alias Authur Lugonzo Mulusa (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
