THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Eunice Ng’endo Mbui alias Eunice Nge’endo Karabai (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land containing 0.91 hectare or thereabouts, known as Ngandori/Kirigi/2678, situate in district of Embu, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. 111 of 2019, has issued letters of administration to Margaret Wanjovi Mbui, and whereas the said Margaret Wanjovi Mbui has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said parcel of land, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Margaret Wanjovi Mbui, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Eunice Mbui alias Eunice Nge’endo Karabai (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
