NOTICE is given that the County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5 and 6 of the Taita Taveta County Tax Waivers Administration Act, 2013, and with the written concurrence of the Governor, has granted the following waivers on unpaid land rates: 1. Principal Sum- A waiver of Forty Percent (40%) on all unpaid land rates, provided that the remaining sixty percent (60%) of the outstanding principal is paid in full on or before the 15th October 2025. 2. Penalties and Interest- A waiver of One Hundred Percent (100%) on all penalties and interest accrued on land rates, provided that the outstanding principal is paid in full within on or before 15th October 2025. This waiver is aimed at encouraging compliance among defaulting ratepayers, facilitating recovery of outstanding revenues for county development, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new valuation roll by regularizing ratepayer accounts.
