THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mary Njeri Karanja (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.81 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kirinyaga, known as Mwerua/Kagio/1590, and whereas the Judge in the Milimani Law Courts in Succession Cause No. E630 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Rebecca Wanjiru Kariuki, (2) Peter Mahihu Muguongo Karanja and (3) Samuel Maina Karanja and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said administration letters to (1) Rebecca Wanjiru Kariuki, (2) Peter Mahihu Muguongo Karanja and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Mary Njeri Karanja (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
