THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Marcdam Kasee Malili (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land containing 1.10 and 2.61 hectares or thereabout, known as Mwitika/Kilaa/297 and 310, respectively, situate in the district of Kitui, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 650 of 2016, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Faith Kanana Zakayo and (2) Jacinta Mwikali Mwanza, and whereas the said land title deed issued to Marcdam Kasee Malili (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 of the said application, and whereas upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Marcdam Kasee Malili (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
