THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Adienge Onuonga (deceased), of P.O. Box 42, Kisumu in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the sub-county of Rachuonyo South, known as C. Kasipul/Kachien/1268, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Oyugis in Succession Cause No. 485 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Pamela Adhiambo Oduma, of P.O. Box 42, Kisumu in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Adienge Onuonga (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue a land title deed to Pamela Adhiambo Oduma, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Adienge Onuonga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
