THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Dalmas Okoth Otieno and (2) Pius Odiek Ochola (deceased), are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land, situate in the district of Ugenya, known as East Ugenya/Ligala/1573, and whereas in the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Ukwala in Succession Cause No. E350 of 2022, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Margaret Achiieng, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to (1) Dalmas Okoth Otieno and (2) Pius Odiek Ochola (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said (1) Dalmas Okoth Otieno and (2) Pius Odiek Ochola (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
