THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Jaideep Singh Babra, as executor of the estates of (1) Surinder Singh Babra (deceased) and (2) Romesh Kumar Babra (deceased), of P.O. Box 72062, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, and (2) Mohamed Amin Sheikh, of P.O. Box 46752, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land, known as L.R. No. 209/871/10, situate in the city of Nairobi in the Nairobi Area, by virtue of an indenture of conveyance, registered in Volume N46 Folio 356 File 14574, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and whereas efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the proprietors have indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya against all claims that may be made after reconstruction of the register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, the property register shall be reconstructed as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
